Stranded

As we smoothly sail across the sparkling sea I scout for land and straight ahead in my sight there is a humongous tropical paradise. Tall Palm trees swayed in the peaceful breeze as we sat down to take a calm rest on the sandy island. Excitement filled my brain as I thought of the adventures that lie ahead.

1. The cheerful children gleefully wrote against the shore in the warm motionless sand.

2. She wandered along the solid hard rocks curiously seeking for treasures of the bright blue ocean.

3. Her heart fluttered with the shock of realization that they were helplessly stranded on the wrecked beach.

This is my writing based on this picture. The last three lines with numbers on them are sentences that we had to add adverbs to to make them more interesting.

Tundra town

Ginormous, dark red buildings surrounded us as we gazed upon the landscape.  Smoke floated up from the chimneys and filled the sky with its huge grey clouds. They felt there feet sink into the freezing white snow as they felt a tiny tingle.

Moon landing

The Enormous Grey Spaceship descended on the unstable dusty ground of the moon. The stars sparkled and shone as he gazed upon these balls of hope and light. The astronauts eyes lit up as they admired the beauty of the delicate planet full of life known as Earth. 

‘Well I guess I should explore around’ I think to myself.

As I was about to get off the ship I hear something. It was loud and it felt like my head was trying to warn me about something. Then I turned around and the sight I saw killed me inside. Big bright red lights filled the spaceship with there sounds of annoyingness and I ran to the control room.
