Vector

Yesterday we learned about being sustainable with our energy from Vector. Vector is a power company which supply's us with electricity in our houses. They were here teach us about different ways to power electricity. Here are somethings that I learned:

  1. 63.5% of our electricity is powered by water.
  2. Mechanical energy is the movement of something moving from one place to another.
  3. Fossil fuels include coal, oil and natural gas.
My tips for saving power would be try to taking 5 minute showers or less to save water and maybe (if you can afford it) buy solar panels and if you want, a battery.
Hope you enjoy!

Coordinates activity

This week we've been learning about coordinates. In this activity I had to use the coordinates in the far right boxes to place the pictures of the stuff on mars in the right place. It was pretty confusing. When using coordinates you have to remember X before Y. Hope you enjoy!

Wonder week 2

This is my slide show for Wonder week 2. I answered all the questions and did a kindness acrostic poem.  Some parts of this was hard for me and some were easy. If you want to do a kindness acrostic poem then think about what you need to do to be kind and what not to do to be kind. I think it's nice how the book focuses on different perspectives.
Hope you enjoy!
