Last Friday we got to go to the Stardome Planetarium. We saw and learnt about space and our galaxy and solar system. Our Solar System has 8 planets ( Not including dwarf planets ) who all orbit the sun which did you not is just a ton of gases put together which is the reason it is really hot. We got to do something kind of like a scavenger but instead we had to answer questions with information around the planetarium. After that we watched a movie called 'Solar System Odyssey' which helped us learn more about our Solar system and some of our Solar systems moons.
Some things I found shocking were the distance between some planets and the distance between the moon and Earth.
Well thats about all we did at the Stardome Planetarium.
